Lover, Foe & Friend

After a eventful or lack of events relationships, can you still be friends with your ex ? Is it possible to move on and still be 'cordial' to each other ? Even after my ex blantanly disrespected me and i decided to be  the bigger person and still told him happy birthday (i take birthdays serious). Also even though he didnt tell me (mines was the month before) but any who... after just be trying to be nice and not exactly extending the olive branch. Its not that i wanted to be all 'friendly friend-friend' , i just wanted to say happy birthday ! But then after that he starts following me on twitter, asks for a follow back and then *HUGE PAUSE* he starts to tweet NON-stop about his new gf. By all means i could careless about that but seriously how childish was that ? I could easily played 'The you-downgraded-i-upgraded' game but i choose just to unfollow and block him. Its obvious when somebody cant get over you, you cant try to be their friends.
